Apostle Andrew Arkyno Tetteh is a passionate and dynamic minister of the Gospel, called by God to populate heaven and depopulate hell. With a deep commitment to prayer and the empowerment of believers, he has dedicated his life to spreading the transformative power of the Word of God. He carries a divine mandate to impart spirit-filled knowledge, raising fearless leaders who will carry the torch for Christ in a world that desperately needs His light.
A man full of the Holy Spirit, Apostle Andrew ministers with power, authority, and undeniable testimonies of God’s presence and miracles backing his calling. His leadership is deeply rooted in his unwavering faith, fervent prayer life, and an unshakable commitment to the Great Commission. His teachings and mentorship have impacted countless lives, equipping individuals to walk in their divine purpose and become catalysts for God’s Kingdom.
Apostle Andrew is a product of the University of Professional Studies in Accra, Ghana, and Dominion Theological Seminary—now Dominion University College—where he was nurtured under the esteemed leadership of His Eminence, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams, founder of Action Chapel International. His theological and ministerial training has shaped him into a well-balanced leader with a deep understanding of both spiritual and practical aspects of ministry.
As the founder of PrayWord Center Worldwide, now Uplife Church, and Andrew Arkyno Ministries, Apostle Andrew has built a thriving ministry that has touched lives across nations. His vision for Uplife Church is rooted in a Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered approach, where people are uplifted, transformed, and equipped to live victorious lives in Christ. His mentorship, leadership style, and unwavering dedication continue to inspire many to rise as devoted followers of Jesus.
Apostle Andrew Arkyno Tetteh is happily married to Lady Rita Arkyno Tetteh, a woman of grace and wisdom who stands by his side in ministry. Together, they are blessed with a beautiful family, reflecting God’s faithfulness in their lives. Under his leadership, Uplife Church thrives as a Spirit-filled, prayer-driven community, supported by dedicated deputy pastors, shepherds, and group leaders who work tirelessly to advance God’s Kingdom.
Through his ministry, Apostle Andrew remains committed to raising a generation of faith-filled believers, equipping them with the Word, and empowering them to shine as lights in a dark world. Our Journey: From Humble Beginnings to Uplife Church
Uplife Church, formerly known as Prayword Centre, began its journey on the Saba field of the University of Ghana. Visioneer Apostle Andrew Arkyno Tetteh, along with five friends, initiated these early gatherings. Over the years, the church grew steadily, attracting people from all walks of life who were drawn to its message of Christ, hope and love. At some point, the Saba field became no longer available for use, so the ministry transitioned to Hollywood Hotel in Madina.
Financial constraints led to another move, this time to Golden Gate School in Adenta. Subsequently, the ministry found a shared space at School Junction on the Oyarifa Road, where services were conducted after another church's use of the facility. However the shared space led to some constraints, prompting the church to rent a store near Adenta Goil Filling Station. This period of perseverance proved fruitful. In 2021, God blessed the ministry with its own plot of land, where the church continues to thrive.
In 2024, the church underwent a significant transformation, rebranding as Uplife Church to better reflect its mission of empowering people to live a life of purpose and abundance. This rebranding has marked a new chapter in the church's history, with a renewed focus on community outreach and global impact.
Today, Uplife Church is a thriving community of believers committed to making a positive difference in the world. With multiple locations and a growing online presence, the church continues to touch lives with its message of hope, love, and transformation.
